Royce William (Bill) Allen
Bill has been a prospector in the Goldfields for the past 50 years and prior to that his father was in the mining game as a Mine Manager at such mines as Big Bell. Prospecting is in his blood and was recognised in 2005 as the E. G. Prospectors & Leaseholders Association "Prospector of the Year" award. Bill discovered the Golden Cities finds east of Broadarrow which Dr Fagan of the WA School of Mines said were now estimated to contain 35 tonnes of gold and ranked 41 in gold deposit size in WA. This discovery was due to Bill's motto of looking at the basics first.
It is this valuable experience that Nex Metals is inheriting and it is irreplaceable.
