- EL, Exploration Licence
- A tenement which allows exploration for minerals but does not allow mining.
- ML, Mining Licence
- A tenement which allows mining.
- PL, Prospecting Licence
- A small area where extract or disturb up to 500 tonnes of material from the ground.
- Mineralisation
- The concentration of metals and their compounds in rocks, and the processes involved therein.
- Prospectivity
- Relates to potential of an area to host economic minerals.
- Regional Structure
- A feature such as a fault, lineament, shear zone or fold which is significant to the geology on a regional scale. Often significant to location of mineralisation.
- VMS
- Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide prospective for copper, lead, zinc, gold, silver.
